New Companion

Hey Dad
Well sounds like you all had an exciting weekend full of a power outage and a BYU stomping. It has been raining nonstop for the past 4 days and so the humidity is really high right now that it has stopped and is heating up. Well Elder Knight finished up his mission strong and we had an amazing experience this week. We had a family from Colonia Juarez, Chihuahua Mexico just show up to church and tell us that they have been taught before and were dropped because of a few reasons but now they want to get baptized. Just one problem, they are from the Polygamy colonies and were part of an apostate LDS church when the parents were young, so i think that we have to get a 70 down here to interview them for baptism. Crazy HUH? But i am still stoked and they are a family of 8 and are way solid and are ready to go we just have to go around some red tape for a bit. My new compainon arrived yesterday from Texas and we had the opportunity to take him out for a bit to let him know how missionary work is (he still doesn't know i am his new companion yet) but he pretty much made me feel like a piece of crap, he is 25 and has been working in the United States for 7 years to make sure his family can survive while he is here. He taught a first lesson with us and knew the lesson better then i did after i left the MTC. So he is pretty much a saint and i am not sure what is going to happen but this transfer is going to be amazing. Oh and we also had the most people at the Branch i have ever seen, apparently the most in over a year. It was awesome that we were all packed like Sardines in Priesthood. So this week was pretty much full of miracles and i am so stoked to see what happens in this next little bit.
I am glad to hear that you are all doing well and i cant wait to see how the new Bibles turn out. If you would get me a shirt that would be awesome. I am still a 15 1/2 and like a 33 34. Well Dad i have to go pack because we are moving into a new apartment, but thanks you so much for all of the support and for all the help. Tell the Wards thanks to, they all sent me emails and letters this week.
Love Elder Jensen
