Dearest Mother
Well first of all thanks a ton for the package and for the amazing treats. I never thought i would miss the day that i didn't have to eat chicken noodle soup but yet here it is. So thanks for keeping the tradition alive. I was feeling really stoooooopid that i couldn't figure out your candy bar riddle. I had to write it down for crying out loud, and then i figured it out and wanted to kick myself in the back of the head...looks like this states wearing off on me. Oh well. So thanks for everything i am way excited to make the cookies, but i cant remember how. So if you could send me a little letter, and if not i will just guess for what temp and for how long. Oh and while i remember I am moving next transfer again and my new address is
xxxx Victoria DR
Baton Rouge LA, 70805
So yes speaking of that I got my call last night and i am staying in the same area but moving again to the previously mentioned address and i will be training again. His name is Elder Southwick and that is all i know. So im not sure how that will go, its going to be my first companion that doesn't speak Spanish better than me so that will be wierd, but i am excited and ready to keep going.
This week we had an awesome experience. On Saturday night we were trying to set up rides and visit all the people that were going to go to church, but unfortunately not a single person that we talked to was going to be able to go. So i was feeling really down and just kind of trying to figure why people are so dumb here and just really negative. So we stopped at the apartment to use the bathroom and when i went out to start the car to leave it was dead. So i was just livid, i called the office elders and they said they were far away and couldn't jump it and so told me to call it a night. So we stayed in and it kind of forced me to my knees and i got a gentle reassurance that everything was fine and that the Lord provides. So i had no idea how but i had faith that something would happen. So we got a ride to church in the morning and at 10:15 when church started no body was there, so i figured what ever. But miracle has it that two of our members just decided to bring their friends to church. People that we had never talked to. So the Lord provided for us 2 new investigators and 2 at church. So that was my cool experience for the week.
Yes i did get my flu shot, no i am not going to Physical therapy, i have pretty much just scrapped sports for these last few months and will deal with it when i get back. It doesn't hurt too bad, just takes a while to get to sleep but its fine. Tell Tyson i hope he gets better so he can go trick or treating. I sent two memorie cards home so i hope to get some good pictures. Tell Jace and Alyssa congrats on the good grades and i hope that they are doing well still. and if you could find out when i need to be registered to go to school in Fall....uuugggghhhh. I think i would appreciate it. Thanks for everything and i hope that you all have a fantastic week and a super Halloween.

Tracting Sucks
Dear Mom
Well I am guessing that this weekend was a little bit busy or you were abducted by aliens, one of the two. But i hope that all is well with you and that all the kids are well. Not much new to report here, um we had another rough week, but we are going strong and are looking forward to some people to start progressing sometime soon. We have been doing alot of tracting and now i realize why i wasn't called to Europe. TRACTING SUCKS!!! oh well at least its not what we have to do everyday all day. Everyday i come to another realization that my call really was inspired. So i am really doing well and we are just in a little rut right now but eventually we will dig ourselves out of it. We are finding people its just getting them to progress is the problem. Transfers are next week and we are getting 8 new Spanish Elders so its going to be musical chairs and i am not sure where i am going. Right now i am content staying or i always love change so i am really fine wherever i go. I am excited for this week though, we have a lot of good things coming, we just cant see them yet.
WEll I love you all very much and wish for the best for all of you.

Feeling the Spirit
I am doing very well today and hope the same for you. Well i realized that last week i wrote a rediculously short letter and hope that you will forgive me. This week i will try to add somemore details. Although it was a pretty rough week and not a ton happened, we did have a few little things that happened that make it all worth it. Last week we made the decision to pretty much do a drop it like its hot party, which means we pretty much dropped all the people that we were teaching, because they were all at a standstill and not really keeping the commitments we were giving them. And i also realized that i was just wasting my time as well as their time by passing by and realizing that as of now they aren't willing or reading to change. So this week was a lot of searching and talking to members and trying to get them to invite their friends, so far we haven't had a ton of success, but there are a few select rays of light that could have some potential. But as of right now we are just doing a lot of tracting and talking to people. But it is going well and we are slowly finding people to teach.
This week was also cool because i got to do a baptismal interview for a kid that the other missionaries were teaching, it was a really spiritual experience and i hope he felt how i felt during it. His name is Diego and he is 14 years old and his parents are members. So it was a really cool experience to be able to feel the spirit while we were talking and i really wish i had as strong of desire to follow Christ as he does when i was 14. But it was a good learning experience. So they had the baptism on Saturday and i tried to pay more attention to my feelings and it is starting to become easier to feel the spirit now that i understand a little bit better how i have to be thinking and how i have to be acting to be able to feel it. So thats good.
On the bad news, i sprained my right ankle 3 weeks ago and it is hurting at nights and occasionally during the day so sister woods is sending me to a doctor, so we will see what happens.
Anyway i am glad to hear that Tyson is somewhat content with his house, i should send him some pictures of the houses/trailers/forts in the woods we teach (we seriously taught someone who lives in a forrest with a tarp and wooden posts, he is trying to "avoid the world") maybe he would be happier with what he has, i sure am. Make sure to congratulate Dallin and Mae i am sure they are going to recieve a lot more happiness with the knowledge that their marriage is now eternal. Wish Amanda and Brian the best of luck and congratulations as well. I love you all very much and wish the very best for you.

Happy Conference
Yes indeed happy conference. WEll i am feeling very refreshed and ready to go. A lot of awesome talks and a very good experience. We are doing awesome here and although this week was not the best number wise, i feel that we have learned a lot of things that we can use and we will be better for it. Tell all the kids sorry they had to sit by the radio, you should have made them dress up and drive to the stake center :) I would have to say that my favorite talk was given by President Eyring during Priesthood session, he gave an amazing experience of healing a three year old girl and it really reminded me alot of the story of Diego. Very Powerful. I also enjoyed the talk from ELder Holland, i wasn't sure if it was the spirit i felt or fear to ever try to tell him the Book of Mormon is wrong. So thats whats going on here. I actually do know Elder Butikofer, he is in my district. So thats cool that you know his mom somehow.
WEll i am glad to hear that the kids survived without power for a few days. Sorry for the short letter not much is going on here, we kind of cleaned house with investigators, so we are doing a lot of looking right now. But thank you so much for everything, i am doing great and cant wait to hear from you next week.
