Good News, Bad News

Well first off a billion thanks for the package, i will ignore the fact that you sent me DIET!! popcorn. I guess i will take that as a hint. But anyway thank you so much for all the support that you always give me. I am so thankful for the scriptures and LOVE THEM. It was also awesome to get a new shirt, i did a color comparison with my old ones, bad news. So thank you so much for the bibles and for the love. I gave one to Lazaro and he was so happy he made us dinner. Liver and Broccoli...um i guess its the thought that counts. Anyway things are rocking here. We did have a little rough of a week but things are improving as always and we saw a few little miracles. We found a guy that just moved here from Atlanta and has a lot of relatives who are members and he has never talked to missionaries before but knows a lot about the church. So he came to church and got along really well with a few of the members. So that has a lot of petential there. Some good news and some bad news with Juan Jose, the good news is that he is going back to mexico tomorrow and the bad news is that he is going back to mexico tomorrow. So its kind of a dissapointment that he had a date to get baptized and was doing really good, but it is good that he is going to Mexico, less temptation and he can be taught and baptized with his family. So thats a blessing for sure, we called the mexico City mission and gave them the address. Other than that not much happened. In answer to Dads questions I did get the package and thank you very much. My address is xxxxx Bard Ave Baton Rouge LA 70815, and my companions name is Elden Spencer Sandres who is from Honduras and has been living in Conroe TX for 7 years. We are doing awesome and getting along great. The MTC training program is now done, so no more sitting in the appartment until 5 in the afternoon.

So yeah that is what is going on here. I am glad to hear that Alex is sharing his joy with all of you. You could just tell Tyson it is poisonous and im sure he wouldn't want to see it anymore. Well again thank you for all the support and love. Thank you so much for the pictures, did you get my CD request list with that? Anyway much love and i hope that you all have a great day.

Crazy Week

Well life is definately good, but unfortunately way too hectic. We had a crazy week with transfers, moving apartments, and then we had a service project on Saturday which went really well. Unfortunatley i don't have a ton of time right now to write all that happened because i have to go meet with president Woods at noon, but all is very well here, we had an awesome week and found a bunch of new people to teach, we didn't get anyone to church and that was a big disappointment, but we did our best and i can truly say that we are going to have an awesome transfer and that we have a lot of investigators that are really close to baptism. WE just need to get our main guy Juan Jose to stop smoking and he is ready to go. When we saw him yesterday we found out that he hasn't smoked for 3 days, so if we can just get him a week or two we will get him ready to go and get that habbit kicked. WE also had a really good lesson with our branch president, in the past he has been stand offish to missionaries but we went and had lunch with him and i think things are finally starting to turn around and hopefully he will set the example in member missionary work and we can get some things done. I haven't got your package yet but i am sure it is amazing. My address isn't worth anything right now because i don't have a mailbox. So you can send everything to Justice ave and the office Elders will get it for me, one of them actually was in the ambassadors tour with us, so we are tight and he will get it to me. Thanks for everything that you all do and i better write mom before she kills me. So have a great day and cant wait to hear from you

New Companion

Hey Dad
Well sounds like you all had an exciting weekend full of a power outage and a BYU stomping. It has been raining nonstop for the past 4 days and so the humidity is really high right now that it has stopped and is heating up. Well Elder Knight finished up his mission strong and we had an amazing experience this week. We had a family from Colonia Juarez, Chihuahua Mexico just show up to church and tell us that they have been taught before and were dropped because of a few reasons but now they want to get baptized. Just one problem, they are from the Polygamy colonies and were part of an apostate LDS church when the parents were young, so i think that we have to get a 70 down here to interview them for baptism. Crazy HUH? But i am still stoked and they are a family of 8 and are way solid and are ready to go we just have to go around some red tape for a bit. My new compainon arrived yesterday from Texas and we had the opportunity to take him out for a bit to let him know how missionary work is (he still doesn't know i am his new companion yet) but he pretty much made me feel like a piece of crap, he is 25 and has been working in the United States for 7 years to make sure his family can survive while he is here. He taught a first lesson with us and knew the lesson better then i did after i left the MTC. So he is pretty much a saint and i am not sure what is going to happen but this transfer is going to be amazing. Oh and we also had the most people at the Branch i have ever seen, apparently the most in over a year. It was awesome that we were all packed like Sardines in Priesthood. So this week was pretty much full of miracles and i am so stoked to see what happens in this next little bit.
I am glad to hear that you are all doing well and i cant wait to see how the new Bibles turn out. If you would get me a shirt that would be awesome. I am still a 15 1/2 and like a 33 34. Well Dad i have to go pack because we are moving into a new apartment, but thanks you so much for all of the support and for all the help. Tell the Wards thanks to, they all sent me emails and letters this week.

Dentist Visit

Hey Mom
I am doing good this week and am glad to hear that you are doing good as well. Things are still going slow but i am optomistic that things pick up soon, and i am pretty sure that they will soon enough, i just need to wait and it will come soon enough. Not a ton is going on, just trying to survive until next week, but we will see what happens. Other than that i am doing amazing. I went to the dentist this morning with president woods, he was the dean of Dentistry at Arizona University, so he wanted to see what was going on and how well this Orthidontist is, but it was all good, they took out my bottom one and did an imprint for a new one, it was 175 dollars, and they are doing what Dr Craig wanted with doing it as a spring something or other. So my mouth is a bit wierd but its good and now i can floss my bottom teath!!! Anyway i am very glad that you had a fun labor day and that it is all going well with the family. We had fun pday yesterday we went to the mall so i could buy Jace some shirts and then went and played basketball. I have no idea how big he is so i got two different sizes and he can pick and if the other doesn't fit, he can give it to Alyssa if he wants. ANyway that should be on its way tomorrow. Tell Tyson to keep it up with the funny stories, i love laughing outloud in the middle of the library. Anyway you might want to let him know that George Washington wasn't a prophet, but oh well he will learn with time. THanks for everything that you do for me and i hope that you have a great week.
